This year, despite the continued downward trend
in entries, Cat Show, the
Show for the country’s top cats.
there were 12 South Ribble members’ cats entered and all were
placed. Our members’ cats accounted for 12 of the 51 cats present in the HP
section which was 24%, I don’t think there has been a time for many a year
where we did not have at least 20% of the HP section, although this year
again just one cat made it to the final stage judging, where Pauline
Christian’s Teddy Boy was Best of Group in the SH self and bi-coloured
class. In addition, Trish and Rachel Hart’s Mr Jinks won the Best LH
Pedigree Lookalike – the third year on the trot that a member’s cat has won
one of the Pedigree Lookalike Best of Groups. The full results for each cat are set out below, all placings being in Class order. VERY WELL DONE to all, Pauline and Teddy!
