Membership of the Club is open to all and details can be found HERE. Members receive a newsletter several times a year, together with some local discounts and eligibility for our annual Points Trophy (for claim form please click here) and ongoing Purrsonality Awards schemes (for details click here). The winner of the Points Trophy for 2003 was “Alex” owned by Cath Jackson of Preston.

Members can submit articles for publication in the newsletter and each issue features a “cover cat” belonging to one of our members.

We have occasional social gatherings, the main one being the annual Supreme Weekend at a hotel close to the NEC each year for members exhibiting at or just visiting the Supreme Cat Show.

We hold an annual pet cat show each year, usually on the third Saturday in February. Entry is for non-pedigree cats and kittens and there are many beautiful rosettes and trophies to be won. The 2004 Best in Show was “Simba”, a gorgeous semi-longhaired ginger lad owned by member Cath Jackson from Preston.

The Purrsonality awards are open to all members and allow even cats who do not show often to climb a few rungs of the ladder with rosettes and certificates for each stage. We now have Jackson’s Amadeus, Creaton & Walker’s Littleman Raffles & Bonnie Goldengirl & Vicky Pearson's Champagne Charlie at Gold and quite a few more snapping at their heels at Silver and Bronze. We are usually available to offer help, support, chat etc at Northern shows and our Club stall can also be seen at most of them, selling Club merchandise and all sorts of cat related items and gifts.
