Meet the people who run the club

The committee of both the Club and the associated Charity, the SRPCC Cat Welfare Trust, would like to introduce themselves to you. Rest assured that we are all working together to provide a successful Club for our members

Hello, I’m Pat, your Chairman and Welfare Officer and a Trustee (and Chairman) of the charity.

I enjoy spending time with my cats & Belle, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, watching digital TV and listening to a wide range of music. I often judge Household Pets at shows.I am also a Reiki master teacher.

I am also on the committee of the Gwynedd Cat Club.

Hi, I’m Carol, the Club Vice Chairman &  Show Manager. I am also a Trustee (and Treasurer & Secretary!) of the Charity.

I enjoy attending shows with several of my cats and producing things on the computer.

I am also on the committee of the Gwynedd Cat Club, for which I am Joint Assistant Show Manager, and I write show reports for the GCCF publication, "Our Cats".

Hi, I’m Jo, your  Membership and Club secretary. I own, show and judge non-pedigree cats and am extremely proud to have owned the, now sadly deceased,  2002 Supreme Best Shorthair Non-Pedigree, "The Welsh Midget". I also enjoy watching Formula One and going ski-ing.

Hi. We are David and Helen Hawkins, our son, Trystan, was on the committee briefly but sadly, due to work commitments, had to resign. He hopes, however, to return when work permits!

We are owned by several beautiful Korat cats which we breed, and also a gorgeous part pedigree black shorthair called Niamh.

Hello, we are 2 of your latest new committee members, Christine & Brian Lomax. We have been involved in cat rescue for many years, firstly with Cats Protection where Christine was the show manager of the show where Past & Carol's Tanya made her debut and started all this! and we now run our own rescue near Preston, Lancashire Cat Rescue. We currently own several non-pedigree cats, two of which, TC and Casey have done well at the SRPCC show, with Casey winning Best Kitten and Reserve BIS in October 2008. With our commitment to the non-pedigree cat and our ability to work alongside the SRPCC Cat Welfare Trust at times we hope to be valuable additions to your committee.

Hello, we are the other 2 of your latest new committee members, Karen Atherton & David Houston. Karen lives in Preston with 3 mogs and 3 pedigrees, all rescued, and David lives in Higher Walton with one non-pedigree cat, Spot. Both of us have been members for a long time and have supported the Club at shows with entries and with working behind the scenes and we are looking forward to continuing to do so as committee members.
